Praying for Time

The picture is from the Genocide at Andersonville, USA. I know we have been responsible for acts of horror as far back as Ancient times.. but the question is, How far have we come? Look at this Earth. Have we ever learned anything? Are we ever going to? Is this moment, here and now, our last chance?

The song "Praying for time" by George Michael comes to mind, when I think of all the evil we, throughout history, have inflited upon each other and upon this Earth. Do you ever hear the ignorant asking "Where is God?" or foolishly remarking "If there was a god, none of the bad things would be happening!". Well.. do they never stop for a single moment to wake up to the simple fact that GOD isn't responsible for any of this? That WE are! Humans.. Sometimes it can feel as though we are a plague upon this beautiful Earth. Damaging and polluting, tearing it to pieces. And we have freewill.. a choice.. THAT was the mistake of God.. giving us freewill. We have chosen this.. when it never had to be this way.

Many people are starting to speak about 2012, I do not know if it is simply because we are nearing that date, or the countless films and books being released lately. The 21st December 2012. That is when the Mayan calender runs out. The mayans have never been wrong in any of their other predictions.. and they are not the only culture to hold that date as significant. People are either fretting over or dismissing this "end of the world", but it isn't an end.. The Maya believed that we are in the fourth world.. and there is only one left to come. Four worlds.. and we are again destroying this one.. I'd say 'God' was rather patient with us, no? The 5th is to be the last. Supposedly, we must make a choice in 2012... to stay here wrapped in the web of illusion, with the New World Order, or to move on into a higher consciousness.

The Bible speaks of a rapture. It also mentions the two witnesses of God.. who will appear first.. in the spirit of Moses and Elijah. You can find this in Revelation 11 and the book of Malachi. Two people who speak truth, who seek to wake us from our dream of corrupt and controlled enslavement. These two will be murdered, (as with anyone who has ever made a difference here), they will be hated.. and those that do not listen will be judged. Christians are not the only ones waiting for two people.. countless groups like the Mandaeans are waiting for John the Baptist who was thought to be the spirit of Elijah. The Karen tribe are waiting for two witnesses to return to them their book of truth and so on. The Gnostics believed it would be Simon magus and Helen that returned to teach truth.

Nearly all those that believe in the ending of this age, are waiting for a sign in the sky. A blue star. Some say it is Nibiru. The Hopi indians are waiting for this. The Mandaeans believe Sirius itself with shine blue. If this occurs, it is a signal for the time of destruction. Prophecies throughout time have spoken of the destruction to come. The Earth shifting upon it's axis, a three-day eclipse. Floods, earthquakes. Rivers of blood. And won't it be too late for us to start begging for mercy? Have we not had lifetimes to put things right? Did we ever give a damn before?

The Maya believed Quetzalcoatl will be returning. The Egyptians believed Horus would return. Ironic they are both bird-headed beings with feathers.. (I am not referring to the feathered serpent here, that is an image of him combined with his female counterpart- the serpent that saved us from ignorance in Eden, also known as wisdom) Either way, we will be our own judges. We will drag ourselves down. Our hearts, the only part of us with any purity, will be weighed and we will make the choice; Stay in hell, or finally evolve.

I do not believe God is a being. I believe god is a source, a great light, pure love. I do not believe in the god of the Bible, the jealous, angry, unforgiving God that kills and destroys cities. God is Love.. therefore how can it be? I believe in the older Gnostic texts, the Demiurge- the mistake that never should have been.. that we have blindly bowed down to.

I believe in Love and nothing more. And I believe that love is the only way that you can save yourself. But look at what we are doing..
